Popping my blog cherry- who wants to help ;)?

So I thought that I would start this blog in case anyone is actually interested in hearing about my erotic writing and my journey through the sewers of the net. This blog will be full of smutty goodness, jokes, excerpts and contests for winning FREE BOOKS, mine for now, but maybe someday it will grow up to be a real big blog...

I started this bizarre trip into Indie media by publishing a novella on Smashwords, which is a wicked awesome site that I strongly suggest you visit if you want to shoot your mouth off and need a place to publish the clearly awesome results. But dude, please don't add to the crap, make sure its good. (Now everyone go and check my book out at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/420826 and proceed to mock me.)

This whole thing began with my looking for a different way to publish my books because I really want to maintain creative control over my work and keep the rights to it so that I can make them into really cool subsidiary products. Someday you will be able to buy t-shirts, mugs and all kinds of other junk you don't need but is totally awesome that ties into your favorite works by me. Also I want to create games and animated smut for you guys, as well as audio. Yes, I'm such an overachiever... and so giving. *sniffles*

After a long search, I managed to find Smashwords and I was pretty sure I'd struck gold. So I put on my sexy silkies, bright green eye shadow and gorgeous red lipstick and went to work getting my yummy boys out to you. The result is Slave to the Vampire King, available pretty much everywhere.

"Lucaine, the king of the Vampire Lands has already known the identity of his consort for more than fifteen years, although the boy has never been told or prepared in anyway. Young Prince Valane has just turned eighteen and is already emotionally broken to a dangerous extent. He has been tortured and neglected all of his short life by his own father, High King Jain. As the 'spare' Valane is the one punished whenever his brother displeases their father and liege, and now High King Jain is poised to both rid himself of the son he could never love and cement his alliance with the vampires. But Lucaine has other ideas for the enchanting- and much more powerful than expected- young man.
Valane has little care for himself. He merely waits for the day his suffering ends, likely at the hands of his father's top henchman- his own brother Crown Prince Vitar. But on the evening of his eighteenth birthday, he finds himself the property of the Vampire King Lucaine and all sorts of wonderful things begin to happen. He is given a safe haven in which to learn the arcane arts and to relearn how to be human, he finds out his brother is not the purely evil man he imagines and that his new master is seriously gorgeous. But what will this new life and the hope that comes with it cost him in the end?
Slave to the Vampire King is the first entry in a new series by first time author Desmerelda that combines fantasy, romance, erotica and horror"

Slave to the Vampire King is an experiment, I wanted to see how well received my work would be before quitting my job. It's the first volume in a Serial, not to be confused with Serious, which means that there will be a Vol. 2 and 3, each named Heir to the Vampire King and Ascent to the Throne, respectively. Of course I reserve the right to change those if something cooler occurs to me.

Volumes 2&3 could take a while to get out though, because I m sending these guys off to you as soon as I am done editing and cleaning them up. (they're very dirty) But in the meantime look for my upcoming novel Demonadine.
Now about that FREE BOOK. The first five people to comment on my post here will get a free copy of Slave to the Vampire King, a m/m vampire/fantasy if they have a way to let me send them a code.
